IPU CET 2017

   Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is a university-level examination systematized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. This exam is specified for admission in numerous UG and PG courses in the field of engineering, medical, management, law, computer applications, etc. accessible by the Indraprastha University.

Eligibility criteria:

  • All the applicants must pass class 10+2 from recognized Board.
  • He/she must be 21 years old on the date of exam.
  • He/she must secure 55% in total and must pass all subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately.

10+2 or same exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English subjects with securing least 55% marks.


M.Tech. CET (for Computer Science and Electronics Group)

B.Tech. / B.E., Grad. IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE), M.Sc, with scoring minimum 60% total marks.

M.Tech. (Biotechnology) (Regular)

B.E./B.Tech (Biotechnology / Chemical Technology/ Biochemical Engineering), MS / M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biosciences / Genetics / Life-Sciences) with securing 60% in total.



Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a least of 50% marks/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with   the minimum of 50% marks. Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.



Must have cleared 12th with Mathematics and English as main subjects.

Bachelor’s Degree of an acknowledged University in any discipline with at least 50% marks. BCA/BIT/BIS of a recognized University of at least three years’ time with at least 50% marks. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with securing 50% marks.



12th or equivalent exam with English and Mathematics or Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia &   Web Technology/ Data Management Application / Web Application with minimum 50% marks.

Three years diploma in Engineering with scoring minimum 50% marks from a technical college accepted by AICTE.



Must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum 50% marks for general applicants and 40% marks for OBC/SC/ST.

Aspirants should not be less than 17 years as or on 31st December 2017

IPU CET 2017 Exam Pattern:

The CET exam will be conducted in offline mode. The question paper will be in OMR pattern. One-fourth negative marking is applied to every wrong answer or for more than one answer to each question. It will have 150 objective type questions and each question will carry 4 marks each. Time allotted to finish the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.

IPU CET 2017 Exam centers:

Exams will be conducted in their centers situated in Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Kolkata, and Lucknow.  

JEE Main 2017

JEE Main is the most pursued exam among the students in India. This exam is regulated by CSBE. It is a two level exam namely JEE Main and JEE Advance. Entrants can get admissions in UG (under graduation) engineering/architecture programs offered by NITs, IIITs, and other institutes through JEE Main examination but IITs offer these courses through JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Main examination is considered as a succeeding exam to perform JEE Advanced examination. To be eligible for appearing in the test, students must have at least 75 % marks or be in top 20 percentile in Class XII examination. SC, ST students should have 65 % score.

JEE Main 2017 Application form:

Applicants are required to fill up and submit the application form online through the authorised gateway of JEE Main 2017. No one is allowed to fill up more than one online form and no written application form should be sent to CBSE.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant’s date of birth (DOB) should fall on or after 01 October 1992 for overall applicants and 01, October 1987 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates.
  • Applicants must have passed their 12th or equal exam in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants appearing for 12th or correspondent exam are also eligible to apply.
  • It is compulsory to score minimum 50% marks in a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Applicants who have passed 12th or corresponding exam in 2014 are not entitled to apply.
  • Applicants should have at least five subjects in 12the or succeeding examination.
  • A contender can crack this exam for only three times.
  • Applicants who have done Certificate course for3 years are also qualified to apply.
  • 12th board’s results will not be given 40% weigh-age in 2017 for calculation of ranks as in the selection norms for admittance in an IIT for 2016. Rest of the selection procedure will remain unaffected for admission in IITs in 2017.

Exam Pattern of JEE Main 2017:

The JEE Main 2017 exam will have two papers i.e. paper 1 (for engineering) and paper 2 (for architecture). The Paper 1 will be made up of total 90 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics topics. The Paper 2 will include in total 82 questions out of which 30 questions will be from mathematics, 50 questions from ability test and 2 questions of illustration test.

Counselling for JEE Main 2017:

Counselling is done on the basis of highest scores obtained by the applicants. It is an online procedure of four rounds conducted by CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) and JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

Eligibility conditions for KVPY 2016

Candidate applying for this recruitment must be Indian national or he/she may show migration certificate.

Aspirants who are porsuing or wants to pursue the courses like basic science, B.Sc/ B.S/ B.Stat/ Int. MSc/ M.S in physics/chemistry/ maths/ biochemistry/ statistics/cell biology/molecular biology/ ecology/zoology/ botany/genetics/ applied science etc are eligible to take part in this exam.

Aspirant enrolled in  SX  and wish to join pg program in basic science physics/chemistry/maths/ biology and secured 80% at least , are eligible.

SB Stream students enrolled in the first year of the undergraduate program in basic science Physics/ chy/maths / biology leading to BSc/ B.S/B. Math/ M.S/M.Sc, secured 60 % aggregate in science.

Candidate wants to take KVPY exam has to apply online. Read all the important details before applying. Registration fee charged from the aspirant is different for reserved category and unreserved category candidates. Unreserved competent will pay 1055/- and reserved category will pay 528/'-.

Hall ticket for KVPY 2016

IISC shall issue the hall ticket for the aspirants at least two weeks prior to the exam. Candidate can download the hall ticket from the official website and take print out of it.

Exam pattern of KVPY 2016

The exam will take place in two modes, one is offline and second is online ,mode. SA Stream candidate will attend 80 questions by the rule. SB/SX stream shall attempt 120 questions in total. KVPY exam syllabus is not disclosed by the conducting authority. The exam is basically designed to test the analytical ability of the student. The paper will be based on 10/12/ First-year syllabus.

KVPY 2016 Result

Most probably result shall be declared in the third week of Dec month 2016. The written exam will be followed by interview round. Final result merit list would be released by considering scores obtained by the candidate in both rounds.

NDA 2016

NDA 2016:National Defense Academy examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). By this recruitment commission shall select candidates and give them admission in national defense academy. Selected candidates are liable to post anywhere in the country and can be shifted any time during the training period. after the written exam , next round is  SSB interviews. this interview round is controlled by respective Armed board . The conducting body is UPSC and as per the norms, it organizes the exam two times in a year. First time in the month of April and the second time in the month of September. NDA 2016 Full Schedule

NDA happens two times in a year and upcoming is NDA 2. As per the schedule, it will take place on 18th of September 2016. Official notification for NDA 2 examination will be out on 18th of June and candidate can be allowed to down,load it. You just need to go through this notification and check out the syllabus there and see if they have made any changes. They should prepare according to the syllabus. The last date for filling application forms is 15th of July 2016. NDA 2 application can only be filled through online mode and one has to upload his/her photograph and signature while filling the form.  The application form fee can be paid by online or offline by paying in the SBI Bank. To pay the examination fee via offline has to take challan copy of the form and submit it to nearest SBI Bank.Later on he/she has to send the application form along with the challan to the conducting body. it should be received before the due date otherwise form will be rejected.


Eligibility conditions for NDA 2016

Age-Candidates must not be born before 2nd of January 1998 and not later than 1st of July 2001. If he/she fulfills the eligibility age condition then can apply for this examination. The date of birth mentioned on your 10th certificate will be the reference regarding age limit. As a supportive document, the candidate has to show marks sheet.

Educational requirements:

Educational requirements are listed below for the Indian army and Indian Air force and Indian Navy.

FOR INDIAN ARMY–  Candidates who are appearing or have passed class 12th from a recognized board may appear for this examination. This is the requirement for IMA.

FOR INDIAN AIRFORCE AND INDIAN NAVY- All the students studying  or have passed class 12th with Physics and mathematics as subjects from a recognized board are eligible for this Examination. You must fit in the eligibility conditions to take part in the selection process.


NDA 2016 Registration Form

NDA 2016 Exam Pattern

The examination will be offline paper pen one. There will be different sets of question papers. Students are advised to keep the question papers with them in order to match correct set answer keys with their attempts.

The NDA paper comprises the total of 900 marks  for two papers which are Mathematics and General Ability test. The questions asked in Mathematics paper can be of 11th and 12th class.  Mathematics paper weights 300 marks, while General ability test carries 600 marks.Duration of the examination will be of 2 and half hours each for both papers which are 5 hours in total.

NDA 2016 result

Result and cutoff will be released on the website of UPSC. Minimum marks required passing the examination. Last Year the cut off decided by UPSC commission for NDA 2015 exam was 306 out of 900 marks with at least 30% marks in each paper i.e Mathematics and general ability test paper. It is to be noted that every year a new cutoff is set by the commission taking into the consideration the number of seats available. The cut off for NDA 2014 was 360 marks. This year it may vary.


CDS 2016

CDS 2016 :UPSC is the conducting of the exam. CDS is scheduled to be held on 23 Oct 2016. By this exam, UPSC shortlists the candidates for the admission of them to Defence Services academies. Which has three wings Indian Army, Indian Air force, OTA and Indian Navy. Huge number of candidates take this exam and it is conducted by the commission twice  a year.ASspirant can take it as per their eligibility. The complete selection process takes place in two rounds: written exam and the SSB Interviews.A medical checkup is also done at the end of the selection process. A final merit will be disclosed on the basis of candidate's performance in all the rounds. Marks obtained both rounds will be considered while making a merit list. CDS 2016

CDS 2016 exam schedule

CDS 2016 Eligibility Conditions

Before applying for this recruitment , assure the eligibility. If you are found not eligible at any stage of selection process, will be rejected from taking the exam. Nationality, age, and educational qualifications come under the eligibility conditions.

Nationality: Candidate should be of Indian origin other must hold migration certificate to support the nationality condition.

CDS Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure 2016

It is consists of written Exam 3 section. Which are English, General Knowledge, and Mathematics. The paper will consist of 100 marks each for every section making it a paper of total 300 marks. Time duration is 2 hours each for each section.  For IMA, Indian Air force and Indian Navy all the sections are mandatory while for OTA Short service commission candidates will be judged on English And General knowledge sections. Hall ticket:NEET 2016

CBSE is the conducting body of the exam and it will upload admit card on the website on 8 of July 2016. admit card should be kept in the safe place, without the hall ticket aspirant will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Admit card bears information like name, date, exam center detail etc.

Marking scheme:NEET 2016

NEET has marking scheme. Each correct answer will give 4 marks and each wrong answer will deduct 1 mark. The total score will be obtained out of 720. There is a formula used for the score calculation which is (Number of right answer*4- the number of the wrong answer*1).

Cutoff:NEET 2016

Aspirant needs to obtain minimum qualifying marks to get through the exam and it is decided by selection committee. For the unreserved category cutoff is 50% and for other backward classes, it is 40%.

Category wise qualifyings marks are for UR it is 360, for OBC,ST,SC it is 288. For UR-PH it is 324 marks and for reserved PH qualifying marks are 288.

Result:NEET 2016

CBSE will upload the result on the official website. The result will be in a pdf file, it will show name of the selected candidates nad their scores.


Selected candidate has to appear for the counselling round, MCC of directorate general of health services will look after the quota provided. Merit list wise candidate will be called for this round.


WBJEE Medical Admit card 2016

Selection Procedure of SSC CHSL 2016

Complete selection procedure takes place in two rounds. One is written the exam and another is a typing test. every wrong answer will deduct the 0.25 marks from the scored marks.

Data entry speed of Fixed key depression decided by SSC per hour on the computer would be a qualifying nature test will be given to candidates. Those who qualify in typing test at a speed of not less than prescribed key depressions per hour will be eligible for being recommended for appointment as DEO/LDC.

ATMA July 2016: Aspirants can register for ATMA 2016, which is scheduled to be held in July month. It will take place from 30 May to 17 July 2016. By this entrance exam, candidates get admission in PG programmes. As per the guidelines of AIMS test for management admission , the exam shall be conducted four times in a year and eligible candidates are allowed to take part in the exam. Exam Pattern of ATMA July 2016

Those who are willing to take the exam in July must see the exam pattern and prepare according to it. Thye written online exam consists of 180 questions. The time duration of the exam is 3 hours in total. the exam consists of six sections named Quantitative, verbal, analytical reasoning.

Every section will be of 30 minutes and 30 marks. In total 180 minutes and 180 marks.

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national level aptitude test conducted by the XLRI to induct the candidates into its extensive courses such as:

  • Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR)

The aptitude test is also conducted for the 15 month General Management Program (GMP) which is its one of the most extensive business management programs. The XAT is one of the highly competitive examinations which see lakhs of candidates take part in it. The examination is a precursor to admission into the infamous Xavier Institute of Management and Goa Institute of Management. The score of XAT is also valid for admission into various other management institutes as well.

Eligibility Criteria as per the XAT 2016

The candidates who want to appear in the written examination of the XAT and get admission through it must check the following eligibility criteria:

  • The candidates must have graduated from any discipline from a recognized university under the MHRD.
  • The candidates must have attained graduation till the start of the course in 2017 which means the final year students are also eligible to participate.
  • The candidates must have score more than 50% marks in the graduation which would be a sum total of all the years of graduation.

Candidates must fill the XAT Application form to participate in the examination. The Application form for XAT will be released along with the XAT Notification in the 3rd week of August 2016 and will be available till the month of November 2016. The candidates will have to visit the official website of XAT to fill the application form. The examination for the same would be conducted in the month of December 2016. There are 3 steps for completing the registration and application process. The first step is to register in order to create XAT ID and password by filling up your details. In the next step, you have to log-in through your newly acquired login credentials. You have to pay the application fee of Rs.1000. The third and final step involves uploading photograph and signature.

Exam Pattern for XAT 2016

Following is the exam pattern for the XAT 2016 Exam:

  • There would be two papers which will have three sections each.
  • The first section will have 91 questions for which the total time allotted would be 140 minutes.
  • The second paper will have General Awareness sections which will have30 questions and an essay for which the time allotted would be 40 minutes.
  • There will also be a provision of negative marking as 1/4th of the marks would get deducted for every wrong answer.

XAT 2016 Selection Procedure

After the scores of Paper 1 and 2 are declared, the final selection procedure commences. The final selection process depends entirely on the Associate Business colleges and may vary from one college to another. There may be various modes of selection but the GD and PI sections will almost be same in every college. In these rounds, the questions are asked by the interviewers ranging mostly from practical aspects and they expect real practical answers.

The final merit list of the selection procedure is the culmination of the candidate’s overall performance in the Paper 1 & 2 and GD & PI rounds. On the basis of the final merit list, the candidates are offered admission to the courses of MBA in the XLRI and its associate Business Management colleges through XAT 2016.
