CDS 2016 :UPSC is the conducting of the exam. CDS is scheduled to be held on 23 Oct 2016. By this exam, UPSC shortlists the candidates for the admission of them to Defence Services academies. Which has three wings Indian Army, Indian Air force, OTA and Indian Navy. Huge number of candidates take this exam and it is conducted by the commission twice  a year.ASspirant can take it as per their eligibility. The complete selection process takes place in two rounds: written exam and the SSB Interviews.A medical checkup is also done at the end of the selection process. A final merit will be disclosed on the basis of candidate's performance in all the rounds. Marks obtained both rounds will be considered while making a merit list. CDS 2016 exam schedule

UPSC will conduct Combined Defence Services exam twice in a year. CDS 2 is scheduled on 23 October 2016.The registration form shall be available online from 16 July to 12 August 2016. the last date to apply is 12 august so one can apply before or on it.

CDS 2016 Eligibility Conditions

Before applying for this recruitment , assure the eligibility. If you are found not eligible at any stage of selection process, will be rejected from taking the exam. Nationality, age, and educational qualifications come under the eligibility conditions.

Nationality: Candidate should be of Indian origin other must hold migration certificate to support the nationality condition.

Educational qualification: Candidate must be the graduate in any stream or equivalent is required for applying.Another candidate is not eligible for the recruitment. Candidates appearing in their final year can also apply for this exam. But the degree should be completed at the time of joining.

Age : CDS exam is conducted in order to recruit candidates for three wings Indian Army, Indian Air force, and Indian Navy. There are different age limits prescribed for the respective services.

For IMA  candidate should be Born between 02 July 1993 and 1  July 1998. For IAF candidate should be at least 20 years old and not above the 24 years. For Indian navy, an aspirant must be  Born between 02 July 1993 and 01 July 1998. For OTA he/she should be   Born between 02 July 1992 and 01 July 1998


Registration form of CDS 2016

The application form will be available online from 16 July 2016 . The last date is 12 August 2016. Candidates compatible with the eligibility criteria can apply. To fill the form visit official website, read details and scan and upload photograph and signature. The candidate has to pay application fee either by online mode, one can pay exam fee offline by taking out the challan print and submit it to the SBI Bank along with the examination fee.Apply before the last date or on the last date.

Hall ticket of CDS 2016

Hall tickets for the exam will be uploaded on the website. Hall ticket  will have all information like name, address, age, education qualification. Take it along with you to the exam hall to get an entry.

CDS Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure 2016

It is consists of written Exam 3 section. Which are English, General Knowledge, and Mathematics. The paper will consist of 100 marks each for every section making it a paper of total 300 marks. Time duration is 2 hours each for each section.  For IMA, Indian Air force and Indian Navy all the sections are mandatory while for OTA Short service commission candidates will be judged on English And General knowledge sections. CDS Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in written exam and SSB interview test conducted by respective forces board. There will be a medical test and certain physical requirements essential in order to get selected for India defense services.

CDS Result 2016 Result

The result of the written is expected to out after 3 months of commencement of paper. A final result mentioning the selected candidates name for India Defense  forces will be uploaded after the commencement of SSB and medical procedure. Candidate can visit our website regularly for more information.
